sustainable apparel

Our mission is to produce sustainable clothing that transcends fashion and trends. Our designs are inspired by nature. Encouraging people to think about how their purchasing decisions directly impact the environment, to create a more sustainable future and a healthier planet.

100% Recycled

We are tackling plastic pollution that is destroying our oceans and earth. By recycling plastic bottles into yarn, which is then blended with 100% organic cotton off cuts that are upcycled from the wastage of the fashion and textile industry.

Manufactured from 100% recycled materials, with added fibres made from recycled plastic bottles to obtain the cotton and polyester blend. 60% of each garment is made from recycled organically grown Fairtrade cotton and 40% post-consumer recycled polyester. 100% recycled!

  • 10-20% of all textiles used to make fashion products end up as waste.
  • 5% of all landfill space is textile waste.
  • 95% of the textile waste that is landfilled every year is recyclable.
  • 70% of PET bottles are not recycled, ending up in landfills or our oceans.
  • 1 Señor Seagull t-shirt = approx. 8 plastic bottles.

100% Organic

Manufactured from the finest 100% organic cotton that is ethically farmed and made using solely sustainable energy generated from wind and solar power.

Low impact farming: We have specifically chosen to work in regions where organic cotton is planted and harvested by hand, without mechanization, and because organic farming does not use petroleum based chemical fertilizer, pesticide or herbicide, it is less reliant on fossil fuels.

Organic Fair Trade Practices: Under the Global Organic Textile Standard (G.O.T.S.) farmers and field workers are protected by stringent social criteria and by the ban on the use of poisonous chemicals that can severely the health of farmers and their families

All garments are embroidered or hand printed here in Sydney, using water based inks to achieve a truly authentic finish that feels great to wear.

In the consumerist society we live in, it is important to produce clothing with the lowest detrimental effects on the earth’s plants, soil, water, climate and its inhabitants.

Organic and ethical production is the starting point for this. We use a supply chain that achieves Carbon Neutral manufacturing, through use of ‘low emission’ organic farming.
